So this is the time where I show and tell what I have for my "Black Stallion"

hahaha

1993 Honda Prelude SiVtec Original BB1

This is when I bought her... on Nov. 2006

She needed a lot of work... It had sooo many problems...

Too many electrical problems, like turn signals wouldn't work, vafc-II was acting up, making my car waste a lot of gas and running too rich...

Too many people trying to race me... b/c it was boosted...

Fuel line is cracked at the end of the line where it enters the fuel filter, throwing code 43 all the time, my fuel pump went out on me... hmm let me see what else... well... it was a headache...

I was living on someone's project... so I wanted to make it my own...

And started thinking a whole lot...

So... I started buying a few items... to change the look on my lude...

I purchased some jdm headlights...

and some jdm turn signals...

And then I wanted to buy a new bumper, due that my first bumper I was unable to install the jdm fog lights that I plan on purchasing later... And inherited some new jdm window visors

And now I got a new front end look...

Yes mates... I do notice the big o' M on the bumper... that was Mickey Mouse's stamp... hahaha... since I work at Disneyland.. he wanted to mark my car Sad sad life...

Then... I was tired of the normal 93 gauges... I wanted EL Gauges... I missed it since I had my 94 bb2... So I decided to purchase one...

I had a buddy helped me out to convert my EL Gauges Very Happy

Here is the engine bay... nothing much to see...

Just a normal usdm h22a1 190 hp

With a few things I inherited from my previous bb2...

Spoon Sports strut bar and Aem V2, Forbidden Cooling Plate

A few thousand miles later... I did an illegal racing with one of my buddies bb1 and a camaro z28...

10 minutes later... this is what happened to my original motor...

So I had a chance for a good excuse to buy myself a jdm h22a w/ M2B4 tranny Laughing

It cost me £1,138.41 included labor and parts Very Happy

Which I did save money already for a jdm motor and the job took a week...

Got my car back... and then I purchased a few things to better my suspension...

I took off these Tanabe Springs

And I took off my stock sway bars as well...

and added front & rear suspension techniques sway bars

And replaced my springs with NRG (prototype) coilovers...

The rates are 12kg Front & 10 Kg Rear, with 4 ride settings

Took me 11 hours to do the job... b/c i was a n00b Sad

Good little profile you've got going there...

What i'm confused about though, is why the intercooler was there, if it wasn't turbo'd?

Or if it was, how the hell are you only on 190hp? Or is that like 300bhp in our terms or something?

Anyways, keep it going!

ahh I do apologize for that... once I purchased it... I took off the turbo... b/c I didn't want it and the owner refunded me the money he was asking for with the turbo...

and it took him a while to come to my place to pick up the rest of the pieces of the turbo kit... Laughing

Fair play for loosing the turbo, i can appreciate a turbo and the work that goes in to do it but it's all about all motor. What honda's about.

Cars looking good man, got yourself a few nice JDM goodies there

To let you all know... I wanted to get rid of the turbo, b/c I would get followed a lot by the Mitsubishi Evo, Subaru STI, Neon Srt4, and they just hate it when I spank them... and I really get tired to get called on, to race them on the highway... so i wanted to go n/a all the way... sleeper status...

Moreover, the h22 is not ideal for turbo, due to the high compression, and needs a lot of bottomend modifications, though the f22 and h23 are ideal for turbo kits... Wink

HECK YES!!! I DO NOTICE A BIG DIFFERENCE WITH THE SWAY BARS... hmm sorry mates... haha

I could make a 40 mph on a 90 degree angle and im still on my seat not sliding Shocked

I go to the mountains a lot and do canyon carving with my buddies... I do initial D with WRX's and Sti... I'll post pix of the sites mates... they are gorgeous and beautiful... Wink especially having a lady friend in the car and sharing a good moment seeing the sunset... I just wish i had the jdm windows b/c they are bronze... they'll help me score more brownie points with the ladies, b/c viewing the sunset behind those windows will make the sunset look a lot better... trust me... and of course not having the sex blocker Wink

I might sell the jdm climate control, due to the fact my buddy that helped me convert to my EL Gauges offered himself to help me convert my jdm climate control has passed away Sad he died happy on his motorcycle...
