i know this isn't exactly related to you question max but if you do want leather 4th gen seats im pretty certain you could just take some normal 4th gen seats to a furniture maker and have them reupholster them in leather for less than it would cost for some used s2000 seats |

I can't see what gap you're talking about.
I haven't got S2000 seats, but it's one thing I'm considering and I'm like you when it comes to getting things right. _________________

Not so i'm afraid, Honda use very good leather and i know someone had a quote recently and it was around the 7-£800 mark to do that
As for the gap Push, it's just out of site in all the pics, but i've sat on Taffy's seats and it's there
I'd rather have a good quality set of 4g leather seats tbh, but can't find any right now. _________________

Hmm! Might have to have a re-think about the S2000 option.
The trouble is finding a set of 4G leather seats without the damaged driver's bolster.

I don't think they're real leather, and if they are, they won't be quality leather. _________________

Fraid so, that was a helluva cheap price.
Seriously guy's, your telling me that your considering NOT fitting some of the coolest looking, most modern, comfortable seats available for any Honda, because there is a small GAP between the bottom plastic trim and the seat!!
Geez, I wish I had so little to worry about in life _________________

Im sure if it was this simple but maybe im missing something...
why isnt it possible to get two sets of leater seats with fcuk'd drivers bolsers, remove the seat backs of one pair and swap them? then you would have a pair of good seats and a pair of seats with worn bolsters
the seat drop levers are both on the right of the driver and passenger seats on my bb4 so it should be pretty simple to detach the backs from the bases and swap them, in theory..

Dave why dont you just get your re trimmed in the materials and colours you want?
You have gone this far on the car making it as Honda intended the car why put somthing difeerent in now?
Have a looksie on the first page of my profile and there is an addy there for a guy who used to trim leather lude seats for Honda I believe.
As for the gap in Taffys seat it would be enough to do my head in now you have pointed it out BUT if it was me and it bothered me I would get a heat gun and try and manipulate it into better shape.
Think outside the box Dave _________________

Any chance of a picture of this 'gap' Taffylude, so that we can make an informed decision?
I was conflicted over this auction. It would have cost a lot of time & effort, but they were a good price. _________________

there are ways round it if it really bothers you you could plastic weld a peice in possibly or weld the s2000 one and the lude one together or custom make a peice from glassfibre |
