In November 2008 as part of a work promotion I got a company car. By March of 2009 I had got fed up of the two year old Focus Est Sad and took the cash instead. I bought an Accord i-CDTI with the money Smile (by loan which will be paid back by Feb 2011). At that time I also had a track focused BB4 Cool . I had one cracking track day in the Prelude, but as I tried to start saving money for a wedding and clearing debts (ready for married life) it became clear that I couldn't afford to run two cars. So the Prelude had to go Crying or Very sad .

Anyhoo. saving is going well and paying off debt Cool , but I think I need something to look forward to once the debt has been cleared and the wedding and honeymoon is out the way. So thinking of what new car to get Question

Most likely going to be a Honda, so looking for suggestions Question

1. Honda Civic Type R GT (FN2) - Have test drive one, not that fast std, but reminds a lot of my BB1 (that converted to 2WS). Did everything spirited driving as well as cruising around (cruise control, climate control).

2. Keep the Honda Accord for as long as I can, get a second car a BB4 prelude for occasional track days and weekends.

3. Keep the Honda Accord for as long as I can, get a second car a dc2 integra type r for occassional trackdays and weekends.

Any more ideas Question

I'd keep the accord as a daily drive and then get the ITR and have it as a trackday/weekend weapon.

Cheers for the input, keep it coming, not only stuck with the three choices, could look at an S2000 Confused , but a R32 GTR, bit too much money to run me thinks.

Yeah have considered getting it remapped. Especially as can get the required cable for something like £25. Send the original map to Celtic Tuning get the to make the necessary adjustment and upload the modified map. However, the car is on 110k miles, not sure how much more on the clutch and is an expensive old job on the Accord, especially if the DMF has to be changed. And the accord is really supposed to be saving me money.

Yeah a B18C engined eg would make a cracking car (and give a bit extra room in the garage), however find a clean eg base car could be a bit tricky Question
