Ok so i've got the passenger one off ok,but i can't for the life of me figure out how the green wiring block for the mirror adjustment comes out of its switch,on the drivers door card.

Am changing the trim.

Drrr....any help before nightfall would be gratefully received thanks.

There is usually a tab on the connector you push down while pulling apart.
They can be quite fiddly sometimes. Mad

You having a blonde moment but it is a hard clip to undo. Squeeze the clip on the longer horizontal edge and pull. If it helps get on the floor and do it from under the door card.

Will give it another go this week. Had to give up in the end.
No sign of any clip that is holding it in..unlike the other blocks i removed easily.

Sure it must be something obvious i've missed.
Ta for the replies tho.

Well....two tries later,i still can't do it.

Its the green connector block that goes to the mirror switch. Can't see or feel any releasing clip on it.

Don't want to pull to hard in case i break summit. Anyone else remember how this comes out please?

If you can't get the connector undone, could you not snip the wires going to the connector and then re-solder/heatshrink them back when putting it all back together?

Yep...thats one of two last resorts thanks Cheggers. It might have to be either that or some careful drilling round the switch from the top.
Ive got new Cf trim for it providing i dont drill the switch itself lol.

If i knew it just pulled out, i'd try harder.

Just cut the wires and put some spade clips in or the round male/female ones you sometimes get in speaker wires. No soldering required and you'll be able to unplug and re-plug any time you like. Also they won't be too bulky to get the trim back on either. Idea

Before you do anything drastic, post a couple of pictures of it up. Idea

You need to look up Chapter 20 page 4/5 of the manual.

I had my door card off the other day & had a bit of trouble with that as well. If i remember rightly the green clip is mounted vertically not horizontally so the tab is on the left side if ur lookin down on it. I am fixing my mirrors tom so will let u know for sure once ive done it.
