Thanks for the replies. Yeah, it was tough giving the lude up after 10 years and I really hope it gets a new ower soon that will continue to look after it. Hopefully the new owner will be an enthusiast.
We moved to Madrid in August and the weather was horrendous... temperatures of 38ºC most days and not dropping much at night.

The weather, up until a week ago was still in the mid-twenties and maybe there was 3 days of rain in two-and-a-half months.

Temperatures have dropped a bit now averaging around 17º max during the day. The morning can be a bit chilly but once the sun breaks out it's not a problem.
Madrid is a fabulous city...with every type of food and drink you could imagine but it is expensive. Luckily, the company I work for gives us food tickets of 9€ per day so I save them up for the weekends so we can eat out at minimal cost.
My wife is Spanish so at least we are not alone and there is always her relatives to go see and they are only 5 minutes walk away.
Funny thing was, on Friday we went to the city where her parents live and, walking out of the train station, I spotted a very nice 5th gen lude parked up, in white with projector headlights and cf bonnet.

It was the first lude I had seen in Spain and the first white one! Must say in white it really looked the business!
Anyway, all the best!
