hi all. I've got a JDM bb4 import. The car came with no head unit, so I want to fit my own one. The car does have this connector:

The loom I have is the standard ISO one that looks like this:

I asked in halfords and they basically said they couldn't help as my car was a jap import and it would be hard to find the part. Shocked The guy even showed me the part that should fit but it looked too small to connect onto the above. (said it was for the UK version of my car).

Any ideas guys? I've found what looks like it on ebay but not sure... heres the pic:

Would this work?

Forget harnesses. Just cut the wires yourself and join them with the headunits. Might take 30mins but very simple.

I have an import and I bought a harness from ebay. Cost me £5.50.
It works perfectly. hate-adolfdance

Sorry Ratty, but your advice on this one sucks. Shame on you

He he indeed it does. Iv still hacked every stereo iv owned. Its a simpler fix there and then, than waiting for an ISO harness to be founds/delivered/bought.
Plus some of the exotic units iv has use differnt plugs.

Not sure whether this is the correct one. The extra separate wire doesn't look right. Confused

Yes that way.
For a 4th Gen its
Blue/Green - Left Front Speaker +ve
Grey/Black - Left Front Speaker -ve
Red/Green - Right Front Speaker +ve
Brown/Black - Right Front Speaker -ve
Blue/Yellow - Left Rear Speaker +ve
Grey/White - Left Rear Speaker -ve
Red/Yellow - Right Rear Speaker +ve
Brown/White - Right Rear Speaker -ve
White/Yellow - Constant 12v supply (from battery)
Yellow/Red - Ignition on 12v supply
Black - Ground
Yellow/White - Antenna turn on supply (like a remote)
Red/Black - Lights on input (if your stereo has dimming)

5th Gen its
Radio Constant 12V+ Wire: Blue/White
Radio Ignition Switched 12V+ Wire: Yellow/Red
Radio Ground Wire: Black
Radio Illumination Dimmer Wire: Red/Black
Left Front Speaker Wire (+): Blue/Green
Left Front Speaker Wire (-): Grey/Black
Right Front Speaker Wire (+): Red/Green
Right Front Speaker Wire (-): Brown/Black
Left Rear Speaker Wire (+): Blue/Yellow
Left Rear Speaker Wire (-): Grey/White
Right Rear Speaker Wire (+): Red/Yellow
Right Rear Speaker Wire (-): Brown/White

Just use male and female bullet terminals. Put wire into terminal and either electrical tape it or use proper heatshrink. Dead simple and look neater as you dont have the extra ISO harness blocking everything behind the stereo. 4th Gens have little space behind their, 5th gens have loads.
