Dito!!! Its been happening for a few weeks now and is doing my head in!!
I happens on random threads, sometimes just ones I havent posted on recently, but have in the past! Like the Group Buy Mats thread!?
Now I'm not receiving PM notifications either.
All notifications are 'on' in my profile and I've tried resetting them but no diff.
I wonder if its something to do with not follwing the links from the email notifications when they arrive? Like if I've just been on the forum and already read the posts the notifications that the emails are about in my inbox, then I'll just delete then without opening them and clicking the link. Does this somehow disable you from receiving any more notifications I wonder?
It's not mail being blocked by my email client either as some notifications come through but some dont! |
You may need to check your spam folder
You need to add the forum e-mail address to your safe list its something like x_mat (at) hotmail dot com _________________

Thanks guys but as I stated it's not my email client - hotmail.com
I've already added the xmat address as 'safe' ages ago.
Also, anything that comes through as spam just goes in my junk folder and I delete it from there. Never had an xmat one go in there.
I get some notifications through and not others. The problems has slowly ben getting worse and now I'm not receiveing anything at all. Including update posts for this thread!!!!
Any ideas!? _________________ 5th Gen R reg 2.2vti, Knightrider Black

thing is, i have firefox on all the computers i use (work, home, college)
it works fine on the college one (no plugins)
but doesnt work on the work one (also no plugins) or the home one (with plugins)
could it be something to do with the way the network is set up? |

Not sure if all messages are being sent.
Some seem to be stuck in the outbox and never move to the sent box. |

does anyone else have an issue with "no post mode specified" stopping you from either; starting a new topic or replying to one?
Its happened a few times when i haven't been able to reply to something. Seems to fix itself a while later. Bloody annoying though! _________________
