Hey guys.. I have been havinh this proble since the day i had my car..

I have changed cv joints, brake discs, went thorugh new wheels and tyres, new calipers but the problem is still there..

as i'm approaching the 70 mhp speed the steering wheel shakes.. i have since then eliminated where the problem is coming from but not fully...

Basically with the driver's hand side wheel off whevener i grap tight the hub i can very slightly feel it move side to side but only very slightly indeed but i think thats enough to cause a shudder anyway...

Some people have been telling me it's the steering rack but i don't think it's that as both hubs should be moving slightly then and not just the drive's hand side..

please help..

Mine's has an lsd gearbox by the way..

Possibly unrelated but I guess you're looking for clues, so here goes.

On my 4th (also LSD), the retaining clip that holds the drive shaft into the gearbox was missing on one side. It actually drove okay but when you were underneath you could get the shaft to 'float' in and out a little.Shocked

I was having other issues related to shake (CV joints going, a tyre that had been left flat distorting the casing), so I can't really tell whether the missing clip gave any extra shake. I had CV Joints and the retaining clip done at the same time and the shake is no more. Cool

Might be worth a look anyway.

**EDIT** Here's the exploded diagram I had from D2M Tuning and I believe it was the part labeled 7, 23, 24. I'd ask an actual mechanic before you order anything though, I'm just repeating what my spanner-man told me Laughing

Wheel bearings possibly. Were the wheels properly balanced when you had new tyres fitted?

Could also be worn ball joints
