Hi from rainy Glasgow!!

I wish i could say i was joining at a good time but unfortunately the last 2 wks have been the worst in 6 years of Lude ownership.

Firstly some clumsy oaf lent against my JDM window visor and snapped it, then last wk a complete cretin unparked their car by taking half my rear bumper with them. Obviously, no contact details were left!

My apologies go out to the couple who just happened to be passing as i returned to the car and on seeing the damage i let out a volley of unrepeatable obsenities at full volume. Their faces were a picture.

My car is a JDM '98 2.2Vtec which i had imported personally from Kyoto by my brother-in-laws' friend who owns Japanese Imports Direct in Glasgow.
I have had the car for 6 years now and enjoyed hassle free motoring until the accursed last few weeks. The pictures you see here are the last day of life with the original alloys which were corroding badly and the first day with the new (2nd hand) Fox 6R alloys.
I will get some new pictures once i have got the car repaired and the sun decides to shine, so if you know anything about the weather up here, dont hold your breath!
Finally, to Stewart who put the flier on my windscreen at Morrisons in Crossmyloof, cheers!!

Welcome, proves flyers do work Smile

Hope you get the car sorted as you want it, it looks like a very nice example, the original blade wheels are the rarer type with a brush finish on them Cool

Hi Macky, welcome to PUK!!! I'm the mystery flyer poster!!! Laughing

Glad you joined up mate. I put the flyer on your windscreen and went into the shop. However, when I came back out 10 minutes later I looked over at your car and all 3 wipers were up in the air. There are some right muppets about. I gently put them back down. I detailed this on the Spotted thread.

I park well away from the store too; to minimise damage from careless parking fools but from what you've said it sounds like it doesn't matter where you park (I noticed the damage on your bumper). Last week I parked at the far end as usual and when I came back out I discovered some idiot had parked insanely close to me. They must have touched my passenger door to get out of their car. No damage luckily.

I also owe you a big thank you... your car sort of inspired me to finally buy a Prelude when my old Renault Megane died cos I kept seeing it at Morrison's and would look over at it with extreme jealousy!!! Laughing

Cheers! Cool
