As said in title really, the rev counter doesn't go any further than 2k.
Works normally below that but just stops there when i rev the engine, doesn't seem to flicker or move, so I'm not sure if this is a problem with the actual clock unit or something else.
Anyone got any ideas?

Well, upon further inspection, it appears that the reason the needle doesn't go any further, is because the backing with all the writing on has somehow warped. I'm assuming this can't easily be replaced, so thinking I might be better off getting another cluster.
This leads me to ask, whats the difference between the different types of cluster and which one do i want.
Currently mine look like this

I'm assuming that the VTEC models have a higher redline on the clocks and a higher top speed, would using one cause problems?
Would I be better off using one from a UK 2.0?
Also mine is a 2WS model, would I need a cluster from another 2WS model? I notice that mine has a 4WS thing on the cluster so perhaps thats standard.
Also also, whats the craik with the facelift clusters? Are they compatable, and what do they actually look like?

Many questions I know, but I'll be very appreiative to whoever helps.

Mine's a facelift EL cluster, still in kilometres. No 4WS light.
My speedo needle light died last week. Another fix to do. Rolling Eyes

That looks very similar to mine, now starting to suspect mine may have a H22 cluster. A little research says the redline of the F22B is around 6500 rpm.

The plot thickens Confused

Erm yeah, only H22 has the higher redline, the f22 is just a normal 6.5k one.

So, I need a cluster from a manual 2.0 or another F22, does it make any difference going for pre or post facelift?

A 2.3 would work on yours, and if you want it to look the same, you need a pre facelift version.
