I know mate. At the point of reading your original post I was in the dark, then after scrolling down and reading Porker's post I was like, "ahhhhhhh". The penny dropped eventually.

The devil's in the detail.

All part of my PUK learning experience. I'm in two minds about what to do with my centre caps... buy 'em OR paint and lacquer the ones I have when I do the refurb, including stencilling red H's?

I think you should just paint them to match the colour of your wheel and then get some Red 'H' stickers and stick them on.
When i brought my ATR (motegi) alloys the 'H' was white but it was engraved in so i just used touch up paint and painted them Blue so they match the colour of my car..

The diference between ATR alloys and the Motegi alloys is that ATR alloys have a slightly different center cap and the H is engraved in. Motegi alloys have all black center cap with silver H..
