When you're speedo makes massive upwards jumps beyond normal vehicular behavior they call that VTEC.
It's nothing to worry about... _________________ My Car, Alphanumerically: 1992 JDM BB1 2.2 Si VTEC 2.2 DOHC with M2B4 LSD and 4WS in NH-552M. |

I did with the Accord, but with the rev meter, when i replaced the ICM.
Turned out to be a poor connection on one of the wires so cleaned up, clamped and sorted.
Not sure where the speedo gets it's readings from though. _________________

Loose connection at the VSS perhaps?
When the rev counter does it, it's usually a bad connection to the distributor. |

how would the 2 interfear with each other?? dont no if its electrical as when the car does go pear shaped on idling like for instance 2day it was idling at 2000rpm. if i quickly blip the throttle the idle then returns back 2 normal again |

well luckily i brought a gearbox with a vss on it already so when the vox goes in ill use that 1 aswell.
my fitv is sucking in air when hot and it shouldnt but when i put my finger over the hole it still idles high and the revs dont drop. |
