i use colinite 914 after high recommendation from members.
it goes on nice and lasts ages. very nice product.
look on ebay, its around the £40-45 mark per tin. that would last you both a couple yrs. |

You need a hard wearing wax or sealant to last the winter months.
My current favourite is FK1000P high temp wax, it's technically as sealant and two coats should last nearly 6 months.
It's very easy to apply, certainly the easiest i can remember
Or you can add wax over the top, or mix others, Colly do a couple of hard wearers as well as Optimum with their Optiseal.

where and what would you place the 914 out of interest max?
i wax everytime i wash as i find it goes on better with moist panels and why not? so im not so worried about the longevity of the cover. just picking your brains |

James, do you mean 915? That's an expensive reasonable lasting wax with a nice glossy look.
Edd, no, sealants are synthetic versions of waxes, they tend to give a slightly more reflective look to the finish compared to a slightly warmer glossy look of a wax.
If you wish, you can top the sealant with a wax just for looks, but not really the other way round.
Yes, apply thinly, leave to cure and then buff off later on, MF is microfibre. If you do a second coat, the great thing about 1000P is that it can be done after just 20 minutes of buffing the first off. _________________
