Hi All,

i really like this wheel, I had one in my old Escort RS turbo d'oh! , and its kind of like a TVR wheel (Cerbera my fave car ever!!) ( sorry, know its not a Lude ) Confused

Couple of questions, as I value you guys opinion on this stuff the most,
A) would it look crap?
B) how would I fit it, and how would I go about fitting the horn, and Cruise

Thanks guys

Al

It's very expensive for such a plain looking wheel.
What's wrong with the Prelude wheel? It's leather, suits the car and has all the buttons you need. Confused

Maybe the seller will have advice on connecting to your car's functions, ask them. My Prelude came with a Momo wheel and 2 centres, one had horn and cruise buttons although they hadn't been connected for some reason. It can probably be done but who'd want their cruise buttons in the middle anyway?

Apart from that I like the wheel. How does the size compare with stock?

Hi Guys,

Pushki77, made a good point, although mine is a pre face-lift lude, with a grey interior, so it comes with a horrible, horrible, plastiky, grey, massive thing off a lorry I think Laughing I did have a post facelift, and the wheel was much better although, still quite big.

Im open to suggestions, but I dont want that 'modern' aftermarket wheel look, more old skool Cool

Any recommendations/ideas would be greatly appreciated, also with the cruise, I never use it but want to keep it, ( sounds silly, but I just like it being there ) so can you mount it on the wheel in the same place?

Thanks guys, really appreciate your help

Al

Thanks Alb. Embarassed
I didn't realise that pre-facelift wheels were plastic.
Why not get a post-facelift one? Very Happy

the DC2 teggy wheel should fit.

I've fitted a flat-bottomed wheel to mine, it looks more like the wheel that was in the original concept drawing of the 4g lude, and suits the rest of the interior IMO!

The first wheel might suit my BMW though, i'm after just a smaller plain round wheel. Only thing is the spokes look a bit thin and sharp if i get my fingers caught in them.
