with 'ludes been so cheap, i was thinking of buying another 5th gen, but a 2.2 and stripping it out. Has anyone here stripped a 5th gen before? Or anyone have any pics?

yes, it is very easy to do. It's just a lot of work and time consuming because you have to be careful. Other than that, it is easy and straight forwards. Everything is pins, clips and fasteners.
