Stereo loom hacked up, please help!!!

oh yeah, it would sound alot better depending on speakers and amp, but i would just run them through the stereo if they are standard door speakers, especially if you have uprated 6x9s and a sub in the back.

im still sure it would have been the amp connected to the front output leads of the stereo, not the speakers.

have you had another look at those wires that run back under the console Question the blue and white wires that are twisted together have got more speaker cable connected which would have probably fed back to the amp. the red and brown wires look the same but cant quite tell from that pic because they dissapear under the carpet.

Thread revival time!

Still have no cd player! Had a friend who knows about this stuff come down and still couldn't even get power to the cd player due to the state of the wiring.

Do you think if i bought a new 16 pin iso plug and took out the dash and replaced it that i might stand a chance of getting a cd working again? I'm guessing they couldn't have hacked the wiring any further back then that? Then i could get my mate to sort my sub and crossovers out again..

updated and help still needed.

Used the wiring digrams and all and cut the 16 pin iso adaptor i bought from here and wired it up to the car stereo loom with terminal blocks and still no stereo. Tried two different headunits and nothing and this is doing my head in!! been like 4 months with no stereo now SadSadSad
