So I finally took off the door card to have a look around and also to put in some sound proofing and I think I really need to replace the front speakers.

I am thinking of just replacing the speaker though not the tweeter. Question is where can I find the adaptor leads for it? I Googled and the best result I came up with is

but can't find anywhere to actually buy the product lol.

Anyone know where can I get the adaptors? Also, is there any speakers that will fit right in or do I have to get the speaker adaptor kit?

Thanks.

edit : Are these it?

I want to connect one end to the Honda input lead and the other to the aftermarket speakers.

Just cut the wires and forget about the adapter.

Hmm, but what about when I want to sell the car in the future? I guess I would put the original speakers back in.

Rear ones are alright but the front ones are really crap Razz So I just chop off the adaptor head and crimp the red and black wires and connect em to the new speakers?

Correct. The tweeters also connect to the mids as they have an i line crossover.

Right gonna put in a 13cm Alpine crossover in the front. Looks like I have to custom make a bracket. Wanted to put a 6.5" one but it doesn't seem to fit into the door card.

Also putting in Alpine 6x9 in the rear and amping them with a 650W 4 channel amp. Hopefully it works out ok ><

I dislike butchery! Unless it's Terry cutting meat for me...

Those are IIRC the correct Autoleads. They are listed as "Accord" IIRC but also fit S2000s and stuff.
