The engine bay is looking sweet mate. Agree about the colour of the cam cover though. I think blue would work well to match the dipstick and strut brace Cool Would you be spraying that same cover up or selling it and respraying another one? I would possibly be interested in the grey one Smile
Look forward to seeing some pics of the C10s Smile

Dave make me an offer on the Feels strut brace. Wink
Not really wanting to sell as its pretty rare.

Blobby, Im looking to keep the grey one as its completely smoothed, going to repaint it a different colour. Smile

Infact I removed it tonight and replaced it with this one I made up.
Smoothed lettering with an OEM black finish, this might just be temporary until I paint up the grey one.

And the pictures you have all been waiting for Laughing

Fantastic!

Those wheels look great - i need my wheels done.

What is the process called? re polish? I need to get some ideas on prices to do mine, and i really like what has been achieved on yours!
May i ask how much it cost for all 4 rims? Just a rough price, doesn't have to be too specific if you like to keep that under your hat Wink

Yeah alloy polishing or re-polishing.
Cost depends on various things really, I can give you the details of the guy I got to do mine if you like? He's up in Scotland though.

Ooh, shiny. They've done a very good job on those indeed.

So what's the plan with your old rocker cover then?

Firstly, fantastic work as usual Dave. I'm guessing you sent the wheels off for the rims to have the lips sanded back and polished up. Then all you need to do is maintain them with the polish? Or is the polish you're referring to a miracle polish that brings the lip back to a mirror polished finish? (I wish!!)

Secondly...Ditto to this guys quote! Very Happy

Thanks guys, yeah I took the wheels through to someone who sanded back through the laquer and worked them to a polished lip again.

Because there is now no clear coat on them I need to keep them polished and protected.

I got the belgom alu from ebay as I couldn't find a uk supplier.
It is intended for bare metal so if your rota's still have the clear coat on the lip then this wont be any use.
You will need to keep them clean andpolish and wax them regularly to keep them in top condition. And probably clever to take them off the car in the winter to stop the salt eating away at them. Wink Dave
