hmm, I think it's still close enough to use as a good base.
It's more the radius of the arch itself that would bother me, and the original poster, similar to the top pics, where the whole arch is shot.
If you were to imagine the silver one tilted about 10 degrees to the right, so the curves line up; then where it would have originally met the front bumper, flatten the 90 degree folds out, and then form new folds to fit the rear profile.
Could still be a winner. _________________

We built an Empire so I knew some buggers would sort this eventually

I've just gone out and had a quick measure.
It looks like it will only be good for about 50% of the curve, the rear part though, which is good for most. _________________

Really wild idea now.
How about bolting on the whole front wing to the rear and cut away the excess underneath. You then have Bri's dream of wide arches
You would have the problem of where the door shut was but you could either put a chuffing great grill on it or reshape and fill it.
This is not meant to be a piss take but a serious thought. _________________ Utrinque Paratus

Cutting and welding this would be quite easy for the front and the rear. Could even cut the rear quarter away and reshape the rear quarter the way you want it, but even I am not brave enough to do it to mine,
I do however have a scrap shell here and a spare wing _________________
