hmm, I think it's still close enough to use as a good base.

It's more the radius of the arch itself that would bother me, and the original poster, similar to the top pics, where the whole arch is shot.

If you were to imagine the silver one tilted about 10 degrees to the right, so the curves line up; then where it would have originally met the front bumper, flatten the 90 degree folds out, and then form new folds to fit the rear profile.

Could still be a winner. Very Happy

Its getting to be clever stuff now!

We built an Empire so I knew some buggers would sort this eventually

My arches are not rusty yet so who is going to pioneer this?

I've just gone out and had a quick measure.

It looks like it will only be good for about 50% of the curve, the rear part though, which is good for most.

Really wild idea now.

How about bolting on the whole front wing to the rear and cut away the excess underneath. You then have Bri's dream of wide arches

You would have the problem of where the door shut was but you could either put a chuffing great grill on it or reshape and fill it.

This is not meant to be a piss take but a serious thought.

Cutting and welding this would be quite easy for the front and the rear. Could even cut the rear quarter away and reshape the rear quarter the way you want it, but even I am not brave enough to do it to mine,

I do however have a scrap shell here and a spare wing Wink

Well as its a nice quiet day down here in the welsh valleys I thought I would get the angle grinder out and wake all my neighbours up Razz

I just wanted to see how easy it would be to get a good shape for the rear arches from a front wing. Bare in mind that this is just a quick mock up, I havent spent more than 30 mins doing this so it is just a tester!

My cutting isnt accurate Im more interested in shapes and profiles.

I know I can do a much better job, I just wanted to see how it would be. Ive never done anything like this before, but i will do my lude now I know what is involved. I feel very confident acually Very Happy

Lol yeah thats on my to do list. Need a few more spare wings and time first though. if I ever do get that done I will be sure to make a fiberglass mould of it.

Just to show how it lines up against my lude.

Thankfully, mine dot appear to be that bad. Last year I repaired it with fibrofill and its come back worse.

This is the passenger side last year

Shame it didnt stay that way when I finished it Sad
