Just been playing the GT4 on my PS3 with the Logitech Driving force Pro steering wheel... Laughing

Its great fun and so many cars to choose from but my choice was obvious.. Type-S... Twisted Evil

I done a quick lap of the Nurbugring and done it in 10mins38sec.. Shocked Very Happy Not bad for a first time... Twisted Evil

Also i noticed that the top speed is 152MPh... Very Happy

I played the GT5 but i like the old gt4 as its got so many of my favourite cars...

FORZA 2 is the dogs danglers!!! but my god its the longest game ever!!! to get gold in every race and every car fully modded took me forever. too many months of my life wasted!!!! i reckon i could have made a fully funtional prelude out of dust in the time i spent playing that game Sad

GT4 WAS fantastic but compared to GT5 its nothing. GT5 isnt even out yet either. Just the large Demo "Prologue".

Problem with GT4 is the ridiculously understeery Physics. FWD cars just dont stand a chance. In GT5 its all sorted.

Also Drive the Type S and then drive the SIR-S Spec. The s spec handles how the Type S should. Also you can add an LSD onto the Type S. Impossible in real life without ditching ATTS.

GT5 is due out in a few months with fully rendered interiors on all cars. Oowww it will be good.

I played the GT5 Prolouge i loved it... I might get the actual game..

How reall is the game meant to be to real life.. I know im being stupid but just wanted to know.. Like on GT4 there is a Powerlap.. Where you can do 1/4 miles and top speed... so is this like for reall.. I got the Type-S to do 152MPH so that was kind of real... Confused

I know its just a game... Embarassed

Love both Forza and GT4 they rock hate-tunz and yes the GT series are real close to real life. I read blogs on the developement for GT5 sounds awesome. They actually drove (some) of the cars around the track and record its exact characteristics, sounds, physics etc.

I always play using the controller pad though. Not sure which wheel to get as they all seems a little bit small and awkward.

Its all about the Logitech G25 with the clutch and heal to toe shifting.
GT4 was close to real in my eyes but way to understeery. Then i played Live for Speed. Now that is good.
GT5s physics are much more improved and FWD cars now behave more realistically. I hated the Type S in GT4 becuase it was nothing like the real thing handling wise. Wheel spun everywhere. Iv only ever wheel spinned turning hard in 1st gear.

Forza is a game iv never owned as i dont own an Xbox but i have played it alot and i love that game too.
Forza 2 id say is better than GT4 obviously as its a newer game. I cant wait to play Forza 3.
But Forza and GT will be close. Might have to get an xbox and get both.

I guess I should sort myself a proper wheel and pedal job for games like these.

Ones I see now are very plasticky and steering wheel too small. Will defo have a look at the Logitech though. Would prefer if it clamps on tables for stability. Might get myself a Sparco office chair too with 3 point harness for those really tricky corners! Dancing
