you should be fine mate, they use them in rally cars so they should be just as safe as a seat belt id imagine lol Laughing

aslong as you have them mounted to something solid - like the rear seat belt mounting points, the scooby i recently had, had them mounted to the original front seat belt mountings!

Usually you need to have the appropriate E-marking on them (an "E" in a circle) and this shows that they meet the European Standards minimum requirement. If they are a brand like Sparco they should be alright I would have thought.

They have to be mounted correctly too. I had 4 point harnesses in my lude and I removed the rear seats and I mounted them in the rear seat seat belt bolt holes at the bottom (for seatbelt and clip)

Hope this helps

The MoT tester will be more interested in how well they've been fitted to the mountings (and whether the mounting points are secure, i.e. not rusted etc).

Fitting an ejector seat might get you noticed, though. Wink

Best wishes, Colin

Far as i kno, the tester will giv it a tug n go "yh, that's fine"

btw, i'd hav thought if they're fitted to rally cars, they'd b better than standard belts (long as they're fitted correctly, as mentioned above)
