as above ... fitted sparco 4 point harnesses and removed my old seatbelts and only two weeks later thought bout MOT time ...
where do I stand with having them fitted? |

you should be fine mate, they use them in rally cars so they should be just as safe as a seat belt id imagine lol
aslong as you have them mounted to something solid - like the rear seat belt mounting points, the scooby i recently had, had them mounted to the original front seat belt mountings! |

top banana  yeah I mounted them all on original points ... the two back ones on the rear seat belt mounts and then the two side ones on the original prelude subframe seatbelt mount and the other on the sill seat belt mount so should be allllll good ...

The MoT tester will be more interested in how well they've been fitted to the mountings (and whether the mounting points are secure, i.e. not rusted etc).
Fitting an ejector seat might get you noticed, though.

Yeah thats one for the mrs when shes complaining about the bumpy ride and lack of interior lol  |

Far as i kno, the tester will giv it a tug n go "yh, that's fine"
btw, i'd hav thought if they're fitted to rally cars, they'd b better than standard belts (long as they're fitted correctly, as mentioned above) _________________ OLD SKoOL FOoL |
