Are you 100% on this? My understanding from what I've read on honda-tech is that some 4G H22 blocks are open deck and some are closed, and there doesn't seem to be any consistent pattern to it.
Although HT does seem to be largely populated by hormone-crazed teenagers with more money than sense these days, so I could be talking nonsense  |
Am pretty sure that the open deck design change was introduced with the 5th Gen in 97. The workshop manuals seems to confirm this.

Hi
I have 97 2.2 vti auto. Just want to confirm, is my engine H22A2? Also is there a gearbox number?
is the pre97 (4th gen) ludes same engine and gearbox as mine?

My old silver BB4 had cruise control fitted
The thing to remember with JDM Ludes is that everything was an option, a bit like fords in the '70s. You specced them up to your liking when the order was placed. _________________

i have been in a prelude that had a button to be able to turn the 4ws on and off and it look factory fitted, has anyone else ever seen this. |

Are you sure that wasn't the Traction Control System (TCS)? Lude's equiped with TCS have a button to the right of the steering wheel, where the sunroof button is, which lets you switch it on & off. _________________

Anyone know if a JDM 4WS ECU will work with a UKDM 4WS?
