Ooh I like those alot, big improvement on the looks. Strange how a lick of paint can dramatically change the look of the car. Very Happy

Yesterday I spent the day giving my brakes a good going over. The rear discs were shot and I had a squeek that had suddenly devloped on the front when not eve braking. I striped all 4 and lubed up the sliders, cleaned them all up and painted them while I was at it.

Best leave the pics do the talking.

This may be why ABS is non existant

Today Nick (njord) very kindy came down to show me how valve clearences are set. We did them and I noticed an immidiate difference to the sound of the engine, seems to tick over a lot better and it seems to have removed lumpy pick up at low revs.

I made my own tool to do them which works a treat.

And finally some nice shots I took last weekend after the meet Very Happy

That last pic came out great Bri Cool

Looks like your brakes shouldn't of even worked at all Shocked No grease in the sliders of that one you showed. Filled them with silicone grease, right? Smile

How do they feel now? Do you have the plastic guards for the back calipers? If you don't, get hold of them, all that crap sprayed on them buggers them up quick, the guard stops most of it.
