Thanks Carl. I have also been on the Feels Twincam site a few times just for a look. Luckily I got the strut brace from somebody in the UK second hand. Smile

Kawa - I will hopefully be ordering a new bonnet from Carl sometime in the next few months, funds permitting, once a better batch has been produced. Smile

Some more recent updates.

Detango'd another set of rear lights:

This time I will be using one of these for the fog light bulb:

Shouldn't get as hot and melt the perspex this time. Very Happy

The end results, again. Very Happy

Santa brought me a Skunk2 titanium Gear knob, should work well with the forbidden short shifter when it arrives. Really impressed with the quality and the weight. 440g, which is pretty heavy for a little gear knob.

I also recently fitted a Nardi Torino steering wheel after getting the right boss kit for it. The one I got with the wheel was for a 4ws model I think. Confused

Before:

After:

I also picked up a momo sport wheel going cheap, but I think I need the ring around the middle or a new horn push, t keep it in place and get the horn working. Its a bit smaller in diameter than the Nardi wheel as well.

Put the bonnet bra on to prevent a few more stone chips on the bonnet from passing gritters. Evil or Very Mad

I also picked up a good condition IACV to hopefully help with my slight high idle issue. I stripped it apart and gave it a good clean and here it is sat next to the old one.

From the condition of the old valve a coolant change was clearly required, so I flushed the radiator and renewed the coolant. Smile
The cold idle is a bit lower now, 1500rpm, but the normal idle is still around 1100rpm.

I also got the Skunk2 Gearknob fitted just before Xmas, and it does make a noticeable difference when changing gear. Definitely a more positive engagement hate-ok

Thanks guys.

Little update from last week.

Had my rear windscreen re-tinted after a previous owner had removed it.
It made the back look a bit odd, but much happier now.

Looks like a professional job they've done hate-ok
How do you find visability through the back screen now during day/night?

Thanks yeah, its an ok job.
All in one piece of film which was good for such a big window.

A few bits of dirt stuck here and there and I need to flat it around the edges once its dried a bit.

As for visability, its fine during the day, it seems very light looking out from inside the car, but at night its pretty difficult to see.
Will just need to use my mirrors more. Smile

Thanks.
Yeah, it fitted no problem after I got the right boss kit to go with it.
Because I have no airbag, 4WS, or cruise control there was only the horn to connect up. Smile

I think I payed £30 + p&p for the steering wheel, it wasn't new but it does the job. Smile
