Here was my car not long after I bought it.
A 1994 Honda Prelude Si VTEC in Granada Black pearl.






Only mods were a Kakimoto exhaust, Ultra Red leads and a set of GAB adjustable shock absorbers and lowering springs.

First mod was a set of JDM wind deflectors courtesy of Sha.

Not long after that all 3 wiper arms were given a spray of matt black paint to bring them back to life.

Next I swapped the distributor cap from my 1.5 Civic over to the Prelude.
Its a clear plastic cap that looks funky during the day and at night too. Also cleaned a few years of dirt from the ignition leads.



Other parts I picked up were a replacement drivers seatbelt, for some reason the one in the car was grey , various vents and switches.

Then I got an Ebay bargain at less than 2 quid!





Going for the pre-facelift front end.

The standard alloys just didnt cut it, so a set of C10's from Julian @ Rare-Rims was what was needed.

I also purchased a second hand set of OEM mudflaps, just because I like them!

Not long after I got the car the Kakimoto exhaust started blowing.
Upon further inspection there were holes everywhere and pretty much the whole thing was rotting.

Off it came:


To be replaced with this:



A highly rated full Blueflame exhaust system including decat.



Next up was the detangoing of the back lights.

Also wired up the led brake light as it had been added after coming out of the factory but nobody had wired it up!

Replaced the factory gear gaitor as it was ripped and replaced with a leather replica.

Next up a few goodies came along.






AEM V2 to help further with the breathing and a DC sports short shifter.
The V2 sounds great, the shifter was a pain in the ar*e to fit as it fouled the plastic trim no matter how much I trimmed off. So I eventually sold it.

Next I sourced a set of JDM one piece smoked headlights.

I also dropped the front number plate lower down.

Then I thought I'd better protect the car from the brutal Scottish roads and weather, so I decided to give it a fresh coat of underseal! Sills, underbody and all 4 arches.




4 cans later:




A bit of overspray on the shocks and springs.
Ready for winter now!

The front bumper needed a little depth now.
I had thought about the accord Type R front lip but decided on the polyurethane Spoon style lip from JDM Sh!t.



Also added a direct cold air feed to just below the AEM V2.


Ordered a Seibon carbon bonnet but it is taking so long to get here I needed my carbon fix somehow so bought a cf plug cover and petrol flap to compliment it when it arrives.









To add a bit of colour to the engine bay, some spoon resivoir covers.





I also have a few more bits waiting to go on;

Braided brake hoses.


VHT red paint for the rocker cover and a few engine parts.


OEM Honda USA full front end mask, bonnet and bumper bra.



Got some black annodised wheel nuts to replace the rusty old ones.

The hunt is on for black locking nuts now!

Recent buys have been a rare Feels front upper strut brace by Honda Twin Cam Japan.


And a Spoon mapped chip from Sleepy on the site.


Future mods are the CF bonnet when it arrives, coilovers, Type R style rocker cover and a new steering wheel.

Awesome stuff, don't suppose you could write a guide for undersealing with costs? I would like to do it to my car but am wondering how you managed with things such as any exiting corrosion etc
