I think this section is for forum announcements
Sorry to hear bout your license dude - hope you learned ur lesson.
That speed in a 30 zone is totally stupid
Hope the street was empty when you did that - Riverside is usually bloody busy at night

Ouch, that's gonna cost you, at that speed they may even throw in dangerous driving and as many charges as they can.
You could be lucky if it was late at night, but if you've been driving less than 2 years even 6 points is a ban
Did they pull you over? if so did they say what you were going to be charged with? |

That's an economical car
But seriously, 68mph down riverside road is crazy! It must have been very quiet down there. I know the police patrol round there a lot cos I almost hit a cop car at about 3 in the morning whilst going round a corner at the bottom of Mousehold, luckily I got let off though with just a talking too.
Well sorry to hear you've lost your licence but as said, there's no excuse for speeding and if you're prepared to speed you should be prepared to deal with the consequences. At least you've still got Kerri to cart you around! _________________

An inexcuseable speed at anytime of the day on that particular road. I have no sympathy. |

Its a shame you've had to learn the hard way. Hopefully you'll be able to get a license again in the not to distant future, have they disclosed how long you've been banned for yet?
Everyone learns from their mistakes, but I try my hardest to stick to 30 limits, they were set like that for a reason usually, some of them round where I live are debatable, as they aren't town roads as such.
But i've seen people flying round Ripley (my old town, voted yesterday as the most english town in england in the national papers ) at 70mph plus up the main streets on fridays and saturday nights, and yet the local police are more keen to spot check people, or do them for doing an excessive speed of 37mph (ok I know its speeding as its 7 mph over the limit, but don't call it excessive, excessive is the boy racers in nova's and corsa's flying round like lunatics in town centres)
Hope you don't have to take a re-test but as its in your 2 years probationary period looks like you might have to.

its funny that you have a nova problem, down our way they drive around like twats so they can get the proof that there car does go over 40mph. then they get there speeding ticket photocopied and its then stuck to the rear side window like a trophy.
its a tough way to win a push bike, speeding like that but it'l be no time at all and you will be back on the road.
