come on guys these are great prices for teins excellent set up for preludes for road or track use height and damping adjustable excellent ride feel and response vey popular

so how much for the 4th gen for the coilovers, and what does it mean when people say they dont come with top mounts ,are these extra!?

Yeah they are extra.

Am i right in understanding that you can use the original upper mounts that come with the lude, and it should work ok?

But im guessing that youll still get the shock knock problem

Yeah you can use the standard top mounts.

shock knock depends on how hard you have them and the lowness of the car and things like the bushes or the drop links etc

you can use the standard top mounts no problem at all the tein uppermounts are stiffer than standard ones,the tein kits come with everything you need and personally are my fav for the ludes really nice ride feel can really get the car in the bends once you get used to the helper springs as they help the ride to become smoother until there fully depressed,

no need for any more tha 16 way damping force you never use it i dont think,great set up and can be reapired if needed in the future

only thing for me is they're not all-aluminum construction so I went for D2's instead I take it they're quite heavy?

Only thing i'm not happy with my D2's is the droop. you lose quite a lot if you wanna lower the car substantially (specially on a stripped car)
