is this Sunday.

I would ask you all to join me in 2 minutes silence at 11.00am to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice to give us freedom today and those who still put themselves in harms way to defend us and our way of life.Remember also those who are broken in body and mind and those who grieve for them all.

If you buy a poppy wear it with pride for those that have gone before us.

Consider the Royal British Legion needs to raise £31,000,000 from this years appeal to continue its work.

I wear my poppy with pride, my missus works part time in the royal british legion here in derby, she is working on sunday and i will be down there too remembering those who gave, so we can have our freedom.

I'll be attending the parade at the war memorial on Plymouth Hoe this Sunday.
Its gotten even more relevant over the last few years in this area given the amount of injured/killed Plymouth based Royal Marines and Soldiers there have been.

i have a parade in ramsgate to do so after ive been stabbed there il need the british legion to help me out.

but yea they are one of the best charities around

The Royal British Legion is excellent. Can't say the same for the Salvation Army.

i have two parades on one day Shocked

but they are fairly small places, also have you seen the forcast for sunday Crying or Very sad

indeedy...coming from forces family I understand how important it is to help those that are still facing bad times from serving and those that have sadly lost their lives. Crying or Very sad

I have 2 poppies in my lude and will be getting another to wear...just hope the horses at work dont think it's sweeties... Laughing
