Well i'm excited and worried at the same time.. cause....
1. My engine is giving some problem thats why i need to go there..
2. Its a 260 miles drive with a problematic engine >.<
3. Swapping it to a H22 VTEC from a F20, no sure if its the right move >.< compared to rebuilding a F20
4. 6 hours drive means i'm skipping my classes (just 2) T.T
5. Have to go down to London from Fairford to take train back to Newcastle
Wish me luck _________________ MicAngGT |

Fair play, that kind of trip is a good testament to PA.
I'll have to speak to them when i'm next due some work, as they are only down the road from me. _________________

lol.. thanks guys.. drove 280 miles to be exact (GPS screwed up at some point or me XD)
glad my current egnine is able to make it.. as expected at 200 ish miles the engine oil is bone dry.. i came prepared and got a full 5L oil in the boot
now i have to wait for PA (thanks rich and co) for the engine swap.. anticipating but also really still concerned about swapping (and upgrade) an used engine..

Out of interest how much are you paying for the swap, given that you can pick up an actual JDM 2.2 VTEC for [sometimes less than] a grand these days... _________________

just about grand.. the thing is if i get another car i'm worried of its reliability since i got this lude at this condition (it was ok initially about about a week)
coming from PA i thought it should be the best place a preludian can go with strong testimonials from many lude ownders..
well i think i'll wait for the whole thing to be done and shut my mouth with contention _________________ MicAngGT |

Is that price with the engine and all parts required included
As for concerns, who is supplying the replacement engine . If its PA then I sure it would be fine, if its yourself then your responsability for the condition of the engine. However, if Rich was to find a problem with it he would flag it up to you.
As for the actual fitting of the engine its going to be a good job.
Let us know how it goes. _________________ EK4 VTI Civic = SOLD
