today i decided to refurb my wiper blades all went well and they look really good but ive come unstuck.
problem 1, which arm goes on whaich side ie does the long arm go on the drivers or passenger side?

problem 2, once refitted regardless of which arm is where they dont work properly they struggle and move about an inch then back down.

what have i done wrong and how do i fix it
