It might sound silly as I have paid for it Motegi kit for 5th gen but just to confirm the body kit comprises of front lip, rear lip, 2x side skirts and rear spolier?
It's not the actual front and rear bumpers is it?? |

To calm yourself go and have a look at Nitin's and Salazars profiles _________________

Lol.. i knew it would have been confusing but i only had this pic..
Its not that hard to fit... The side skirts are really easy to fit and you can do that in 10mins.. On my rear and front lip the holes for the screws were broken so i had to take the bumper off to drill more holes and re screw them.. But the front should be easy to fit and you may have to take your rear bumper off to fit the rear one..
Hope this helps.. _________________

Hey Raw,
Nitin has posted a good link there with the manufacturer instructions. It's not a hard job at all, takes a while but its very straight forward. Of course you'll need the fittings from the seller, lets hope you get those - springs clips, bolts, self tapping screws and if you're lucky the expansion clips/bumper clips. If not, just take a trip to B&Q for replacement nuts bolts and washers. I had to do that for a couple of the fittings, no problem though.
You'll want to be taking the front and rear bumpers off to do it properly, makes it much easier, they take about 10mins each to remove, check the manual for those instructions. Took me about 4hrs total and was good fun and satisfying. The only thing I will point out is the Expansion Clips on the side skirts 'screw' out, they are actually threaded and do not 'pop out' easily and can break, so make sure to get a philips head on there gently and unscrew them
I'd say do it yourself mate! its not hard but if you do take it to someone else to do it, print off the instructions from link below and give them to the fitter
Scroll down to the relevant body parts and click 'view installation instructions' (seems you have to do it twice to get the pages to load ) to download the pdf's -

The company are called Pick a Part UK Ltd and are from leeds, not sure if the guys pulling a fast one or they were damaged in transit as first off he said they would claim on the insurance and now he just called to say it would takes months to claim and are they any good to me as they are etc.
The front lip needs a complete spray which i had known about, but it looks like i will have to spray and repair both sides and its all working out a small fortune tbh. |

Ah that's a real shame Raw
Not that bad though, they could easily be repaired by the body shop. You can even make that sort of repair yourself with Araldite glue and some good, strong fabric. With the fabric soaked in the 2-pak glue it makes a kind of uber strong fibre resin. I used an old pair of jeans to repair a very small crack on the corner my front lip before I sent it into the spray shop, similar to your but only an inch long. You'd need some clamps though.
I still think that for the money you've got a great deal. In total my kit cost me £350 - £150 parts and £200 spraying and that was still a very good deal all in all.
How was the rear lip?
Looking at the fitting instructions, did you get all the fixings??? _________________ 5th Gen R reg 2.2vti, Knightrider Black

Thanks for the info Salazar, I called my mate and he said not to worry to much but my bumpers cost £60 each to spray so this will be like£60 for front lip, and £120 for 2x sides when the liar on the phone said the skirts were mint....grrrr...lol.
The rear is actually in good condition so thats one bonus.
There are some bolts and washers on the rear and some on the front and I just saw a bag of them on ebay now but will wait till my mate at the bodyshop takes a look, bad part is he dont do mates rates:) |
