ok i will be renewing every single bush soon on my bb1 and im debating on weather 2 go 4 polybushes or to go for standard.

i will be lowering on coilovers e.t.c and adding a few braces here n there.

but dont no weather its really worth polybushing it as i wont b taking it on a track. only using it 4 street use.

is it really worth it??

it maybe worth a look on us ebay if you go down the polybush route!!!
i feel a group but coming!! Laughing
personally id be tempted to go poly bush, i took a mates mx5 hairdresser car pre and post poly bushing and it felt like a much tighter better car all round, but thats just my opinion!!
also it may work out cheaper to go poly!!!

Road car, i'd stick with stock, poly's make the ride quite harsh. But as said they are probably cheaper

personally if your going down the route of coilovers and braces then i would say poly bush, as IMO there is no point spending all that cash and time doing all that when you've got softer bushes and you obviously dont mind a bit more of a hard ride.........but this is all IMO

I'd be up for a group buy, need to replace a few that are splitting.

From personal experience avoid RUK Industries on ebay (USA), if you are after poly bushings, I had a nightmare buying from them.

Does anyone know a good place to buy from, I don't really care if they are poly type or not?

I'm eventually going down the route of replacing all my bushes to, and Red Energy suspension was a contender for me. So if it goes down the route of a group buy then I'd be in Wink

the red ones need regular lubicration or they become noisy black ones are best as they are uprated road versions

If you lubricate them at the beginning they will stand as good as black ones..I just think that people are forgetting about lubricating them at the beginning.

Sorry my mistake. It's been a while since I researched them and I blatantly remembered them the wrong way around Embarassed

if your on about getting coilovers etc then i would probably stick with stock bush's, reason being for a road car you want a bit of give, especially if the roads are anything like what they are round here Evil or Very Mad .

i've not long done all the bush's on mine for the energy ones, koni shocks with eibach pro springs, braces etc and the ride is a bit too hard for road use imo. masta cutz on the other hand has the same set up but he's running stock bush's and to me thats the better set up for road use because it deals with the bumps better, especially when cornering hard. if it was for track use then poly all the way but I wont be making it on track till next year Sad .

also looked into the moog bush's as there supposed to be softer than the energy ones but not as soft as stock and its somthing im considering changing to but then again it might be worth changing a select few bush's back to stock and keeping the rest poly, havn't decided yet Confused .

I've got red poly bushes on front and rear sway bars, front and rear links and it is working well...but as you mentioned I would not go for all reds...

In my opinion I have better control on the car now than before with stock ones...

i have the red bushes on my tanabe roll bars and my drop links and my suspension seems really planted and there is a huge difference in the suspension feel and not all from the roll bars surprisingly
I do have the bushing kit for the rest of the car including the bits that arent in the master kit and i will replace them as i go along but i do get the feeling it will be overkill for the road.
