As the subject title says... I put a PUK flyer on the windscreen of the silver 5th gen I keep seeing in the carpark of my local Morrison's. Spreading the PUK love!!! I even put it in a ziplock bag so it wouldn't get wet!!!

I also wrote a note on the back of it saying that it's a cool forum and hope they didn't mind me putting the flyer on their windscreen. The bizarre thing was that when I came back out from the shop I looked over at it again to discover that someone had lifted it's wiper blades up, so I went over and put them back down. The flyer was still there. Very strange.

Regarding the car itself, it's an S reg, the wheels have 5 lugs, it has a rear wiper and the only badge on the back is a small DOHC VTEC sticker. No spoiler and just the standard bumpers (square Jap style plate on the rear) and side skirts. Also, the interior upholstery is black. It's a really nice car, but it's got me kinda confused. Is it an import? Is that a dumb question? Anyone able to shed light on it? Are we alone in the universe?

I hope the person (fingers crossed it's a hot female lady of the opposite sex), joins the forum. And if it's you and you're reading this then I'm sorry for touching your car; it was with the very best of intentions. I'm not a stalker, honest!!! Very Happy

It was slightly surreal reading that post knowing its my car u were talkin about!!
There was a guy doing his last ever shift that day so i guess he thot that he was being dead funny sticking all my wipers up. Pity i missed out on the joke!
It was interesting to read that u were unsure as to whether it was an import or not but had u checked out the rear windscreen, ive still got the Japanese Imports Direct sticker running the full length! (soon to be removed)

Also, i actually spotted ur car from the canteen window that day & remarked to one of my workmates that that was the first black one i had ever seen. Looked well smart!
I really was in two minds about gettin the car repaired or not but after gettin that flyer & checkin out the forum it reminded me how much i love the car,so thanks for that. I got quoted today £350 to get the bumper repaired & also a few minor scratches sorted & polished so cant wait now to get it booked in. My missus is gonna flip!!!
Ps, sorry i wasnt the sexy babe u were after Laughing

It might have been more surreal if I had been saying bad stuff about it!!! Laughing

Lucky I didn't see your colleague pulling the wipers up; I may have set about him. Can't stand people messing with someone else's wheels, especially if it's a Prelude! I felt dodgy enough putting a flyer under your wiper. That's probably why I didn't notice the sticker. Plus I'm new to the Lude universe, so wasn't 100% about whether it was an import or not.

I'm really glad you're gonna get your car fixed and I'm pleased I (and PUK) played a part in making your mind up. How's that for a coincidence? My timing is excellent! Were you honestly thinking about getting rid of it?! Shocked

Consider us even. As I mentioned elsewhere, I was overcome with envy every time I did my shopping, resulting in that smart looking black Lude!!!

Oh, and as far as you not being a sexy babe is concerned... that's probably a good thing. I'm taking a break from the ladies at the moment for health and money reasons!!! Laughing

Best of luck with the repairs mate. Very Happy
