I've just been out and put my old 15" sawblades back on the car ready for the Winter. hate-sfiga
I want to keep my refurbished Superleggera's in good condition, which means keeping them away from the deadly salt the Council loves to use on our roads.

I drove the whole of the Summer without kerbing them once. weint_vor_lachen

Does anyone else do this, or am I just a bit sad? Sad

I'd do this if i can find some cheap 15" tyres, the current ones are bald.

Hmm, actually, only two are, i wonder how much i can get two tyres fitted for.

Mmm! Cardboard wheels.
They would disintegrate during the Winter. Laughing

Thanks to Merlin's good advice I'll be taking my 17" EP3's off and putting the 15" Honda blades on for winter. I really need to get off my lazy bum and refurbish them first though! Time's running out.

your not sad at all, wheels that are curbed and/or corroded can really let a cars apperance down and considering how much a new set of wheels are i'd rather not damage them. i would do the same but i just dont bother driving the lude in the winter, or at least when its wet which is most of the time Sad
