Hi all.

Having a few issues fitting my new gearbox.

Firstly, couldn't get the box to go on properly as the dowells just didn't want to line up. Got it on now, but now the box is on, the flywheel won't move?

Tried the box in every gear, but the flywheel won't turn! Don't want to carry on fitting it if that's not right.

Should it move with the box in place?

should do mate as you need to turn it to tighten up the bolts that hold the torque converter on.
may be a silly question but did you check the input shaft was free before you put the 'box in?
either a jammed/seized 'box or something didnt quite line up on refit.

fly wheel plate should still turn mate.
my guess is that something hasnt lined up properly. most likely the torque converter on the gearbox input shaft.

Ok, we're gonna strip the box back off and the torque convertor and refit the whole lot....
