I've had my Rota Torques for a couple of years now, and TBH they're all curbed to f*ck and generally let the car down. Especially being finished in gunmetal as the damage easily shows.

Just had a quote of £50 per wheel to get them fully re-furbed and finished again in gunmetal, just wondering if this sounded about right.

The company i'm using is

Anyone used them before? Hopefully going to drop the car in Monday and pick it up Tuesday.

sounds a little high to me, but not by much. My local place charges about £170 for a set of 4, including removal and refitting of tyres.

I'll be using my local 'wheel doctor' who quoted me £160 plus paint (around £20 he thinks) for all 4 wheels. For the work involved I thought that was a good price.[/i]

£50 sounds quite reasonable to me. Mine cost £65 per wheel, although I had a 'special' finish.
Just make sure they do a proper job. Removal of the tyre and weights is pretty essential.
They also need to chemically strip the old finish right back.

Picked the car up today after it went in Tuesday (had stuff to do on monday).

They look brand new! The finish is spot on to how I got them from rarerims.

Had to argue the toss with the price though as I forgot to ask whether or not the £50 per wheel included VAT which it didn't. Thankfully. paying with cash I managed to get around the extra cost. Very Happy

Just hope my parking improves enough for them to stay that way.

Will get some pics up when it stops pi55ing down.
