Yes Exactly.. Skunk2..
And also if your Putting H22A7 head then your normal intake manifold will be pooo in my opinion so if you get Euro-R manifold which is highly recommended as an upgrade to standard manifold then it will work even better.. So get SKunk2 cam gears and Euro-R manifold (ATR manifold).. _________________

well the ecu that i have at the moment is one of those spoon chips.. it has increased vtec to 5500rpm.. so i need to see first of all how it behaves with that ecu.. if it doesn't like it then i will put back the prelude stock ecu..if not though i'm sure my mechanic will give me the best advise..
End of the day i do realise that to get the full potential out of mods i need a proper remap but i don't want to do that just yet as i have more mods in mind.. |

i spoke to the mechanic that is doing the job for me and he said that the valves won't lash and there won;t be any damage at all..
Now this goes out to anyone that wants to do this sort of modification..
If you get an Acccord type-r head for your prelude everything will work fine but to really get the full potential of the mod and rev up to 9k you really need to get it remaped... |

It wont rev up to 9k at all. A proper uprated valve train will be needed. Taffys got a full NA build and his power band goes up to 8.5k.
Seriously you need a remap with any valve train up grades. I mean a proper dyno remap not a pre tunned ecu like a spoon chip. _________________

to rev to 9k you would have to sort out the bottom end as well matey quick way to kill an engine is rev it past its limits |

Remember, to see ATR power, your going to also need ATR/Type-S pistons, for the higher compression. This is the real power adder in their setup. A remap will be essential to get the most out of the setup, and you will also need to consider the engine breathing in & out (intake/I.Manifold/Exhaust Manifold/Exhaust) to remove any performance bottlenecks. _________________
