Hey guys quick question..

My car is a bb4 and with a good service and full exhaust system and decat and induction kit it produced a healty 208bhp and 152 torques..

I will be fitting a h22a7 head from an 51 plate atr..

What sort of gains should i expect?

The head will be getting skimmed.. i don't know what else my mechanic was talking about but he also mentioned about doing something to the valves or something Embarassed sorry if it doesn't make too much sense but i was trying to do something while my mechanic was telling me all this..

Anyways.. what do you think the gains will be then?

AFAIK as its a BB4 with an OBD1 ECU, it can be re-mapped to take advantage of the ATR head.

Only the OBDII ECU (5th geb ludes) can't be remapped.

I'm sure someone with some knowledge will tell me I'm wrong though. Laughing

That'll be using an ATR ECU though.

none at all m8.. it includes taking the existing head off and putting the new one on, and a new head gasket for the h22a7 head.. also something the mechanic is doing with the valves or something.. and most importantly of all test driving the car and making sure everything is working fine..

i am hoping it will be producing a healthy 220 bhp when the new head is on..

yes.. Laughing

it's defintely worth it in many ways as the h22a7 head is from a newer and slightly more powerful h22 series engine..so thats means that any mods that you do to your car you will see more potential as you have a better engine base..do you know what i mean?

Yes i get what you mean... Cool

Why dont you get Adjustable Cam Gear aswell coz seeing as his taking the head off and also the Tunner can tune the CAm gear and you can probably get more then 220BHP afterwards... Idea Twisted Evil
