Here is our 2000 (W-reg) BMW 328i saloon (2.8 litre straight 6 engine, 193bhp RWD). This car is brilliant; I can't describe it any other way. It is very comfortable for long journeys and will return a good MPG, but is also brilliant for shorter journeys. It is the perfect blend of nippiness, style, and comfort with the lovely sound of a straight six engine. I am a real car enthusiast and travelled many miles in the search for a BMW 328 in manual with no rust when we were looking and feel I found the perfect one. There is a genuine reason for sale, and this is stated at the bottom. The car is very spacious and easily carries 4 adults with plenty of room, and will fit 5 adults comfortably, along with a big boot for luggage. This car benefits from many new parts in the past few months as listed below. I am a great believer in looking after cars and think preventative measures are always better than waiting until something breaks.

MOT until October 2010 (passed first time a couple of weeks back)
Tax until June 2010
105k with FSH (this is nothing for a well serviced BMW engine)
Engine is running sweet as a nut, had 37 MPG on a long run recently
Serviced with new synthetic engine oil, filter, synthetic diff oil, and synthetic gearbox oil @ 103k (cars computer says 13, 200 miles until the next service is due).
Refurbed wheels in anthracite with 4 new tyres @ 104, 500 miles
RCL/alarm with interior sensors and 2 key fobs with boot open button
New rear shocks and rear trailing arm bushes @ 100k
Aircon/Climate control - Regassed @ 102k
BMW tape player with 6 CD changer
ABS
Traction control and ASC
Auto sensing wipers
Auto dimming rear view mirror
Complete LED interior light upgrade
Headlight washers
Front fog lights
Electric windows all round

Very good bodywork for the age of the car, few minor imperfections but it is 9 years old. As you can see from the pictures I take great pride in the look and condition of my cars and always clean them regularly. I use quality items for paint protection including a well established polish brand, topped with very durable wax. The cars paintwork always has a nice beading effect when wet, as a true sign of how well looked after it is. I do have more pictures, so please get in contact if you would like to see them before travelling to see the car itself.

The car is for sale at £3750 but all reasonable offers will be considered.

Genuine reason for sale, as me and my wife got married less than two months ago and want to downgrade to a cheaper focus so we can pay some of the outstanding wedding bills. We will be upset to see this car go but paying off a few bills is currently our priority.

Nope, not as far as I'm aware. Couple of stone chips on the bumper/bonnet but it's very good for age and 105k! Changed all the orange indicators to black/clear to match into the car more though. Just looked for why you'd ask the question and you're referring to the middle pic I think but the wheels are turned out a bit so all fine there trust me!! Like I said drives fine.

Did a check on the car before we bought it and came up clear on the old HPI and written off check!

To be honest we weren't sure what to expect when we bought it but cracking car. So comfy and easy to drive long disance yet still very pokey!

No worries mate, you have keen eyes but all is fine there, no problems with damage at all! If there was and it was recorded it would of shown on the check I did before buying it, and if not recorded I would of noticed it and if I hadn't the MOT tester may of, and if he didn't the BMW garage I take it to for some work would of!! Wink Trust me been done by a car that was in a shunt previously...wouldn't make the same mistake twice!!

The reserve is lower than the buy it now Wink

If it doesn't sell we have decided we'll keep it and just take longer to pay off the debts as cracking car and just not ready to give it away considering the condition and new parts!!

UPDATE 22/11/09 - More new parts fitted this weekend. Thought the handbrake was sticking on the nearside rear, turned out the caliper was seized.

So now also fitted new rear discs and pads, and a new caliper on the NSR.
