Item for sale:
here for sale is my 1992 Toyota Celica GT-Four. I've not had the car long, so my knowledge on it is limited but i'll detail to the best of my abilities.

Description:
Basics:
*1992 Toyota Celica GT-Four ST185
*1998cc Turbo 4WD
*3-door coupe
*120,000 miles on the clock
*UK Model (cheap insurance)
*MOT: August 2010 (no advisories)
*Tax: April 2010
*ABS, PAS, E/W, C/L, Alarm

*Custom stainless steel exhaust (lifetime guarantee)
*15" Alloys all with good tires (i have a set of 17" alloys that can also be included)
*Air Conditioning
*Boost Gauge mounted on dash
*HKS Dump Valve (also have a spare baileys which can be included)
*CD/MP3 player with remote control
*Uprated front and back speakers
*Turbo Timer
*MOMO steering wheel
*tilting/adjusting steering wheel
*recent new disks and pads all round

As you will be able to see from the pictures, the car is in very reasonable condition for being a 17 year old UK Celica. When i purchased it, it needed some slight work done to it.

*handbrake tightened
*tyres
*blow from exhaust gasket
*split boost hose

however, i have remedied all these problems and the car is driving like an absolute dream. It behaves very well off boost around the town and when on the bypass, pulls strongly up the rev range and the turbo boost kicks in as and when it should and holds at peak.

while cleaning the car inside, i came across the service book, owners manual and a few receipts

the most notable of these are for

*Engine Rebuild in late 2007
*New gearbox in early 2008
*Reconned Turbo in late 2008

this would explain why the car seems to drive so well despite the mileage

the bodywork isn't too bad for a UK model, it has a couple of scratches here and there however nothing major.
the one bit of rust i can find on the body is towards the rear of the sill at the drivers side and is just beginning to come through the paint, however it isn't serious.

Pictures:

Price:
£1650 ono

i've tried to describe the car accurately to the best of my knowledge but if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

i'd be interested in a part exchange for some sort of VTEC powered Honda Civic,
i'd prefer a swap for one of similar value or a cheaper one with cash my way, so what have you?

Hello mate, what sort of revs does the turbo kick in? And what sort of boost do you get from each gear?

turbo isn't really based on revs mate, its more to do with acceleration...

however, its usually around 3000rpm at full throttle

as for the boost, its standard, but i can only estimate from the boost gauge as it won't be entirely accurate

1st - 8psi
2nd - 8psi
3rd - 10psi
4th - 10psi
5th - 12psi

again, these are just estimates
