After much waiting and even more waiting, following some development work and lots of discussion and argument with one of the top manifold and exhaust manufacturers in the country, we finally have for sale the Vtecdirect H22 Exhaust Manifold.
It is a Tri Y type design, and is a perfect straight swap fit, in place of your standard manifold and 2-1. Was developed for the Accord Type R so should be an excellent upgrade for all you Prelude chaps.
On a hub dyno test this manifold made 12lb/ft of torque midrange and similar amount of horsepower also in midrange. Peak gains were minimal, approx 4bhp but the difference on the car when driving is noticeable.
Better noise, better power delivery, better everything from standard.
Stainless steel, with slip fit joints and spring retainers which allow some flexibility, also a short flexi built in just before cat or decat, gives a very nice fitting piece of kit.
