Not so much better gears, just more suited to high speed. With the gearbox in the H22a8 you can drive around in 3rd in the town all day long. Where as with the H22a5 gearbox you need to go down to 2nd to keep it smooth.

Theres not much point in hitting 8K when going through the gears, my lude hits peak power at 7.2K.
