Am I right in thinking that this more benificial to the 97 & 98 5th's than the 99-01's, as the 99-01's have shorter ratios and quicker acceleration anyway?

This will not fit Boxes with ATTS or the prelude box with LSD including The m2b4. I had a 4.64 FD on my old prelude box build and did loads of research. If bought this will be a great mod and works best with the M2F5 box. Good time to get an aftermarket LSD (& guess who has one for sale Wink )

Shorter Final drive.....no no no...well not for me. I prefer the longer final drive on the Type S. I stay in VTEC in all gears and the longer final gear means motorway cruising is economical and quiet.

vtec cuts in at 125mphish in 5th on the ATR, dropping to around 120mphish with a 4.64 - surely that's fast enough for motorway cruising Laughing

Thanks Dino, so just to clarify this will not fit lude boxes with ATTS or LSD - even though it fits the ATR box with LSD?

Mfactory posted this on the ATR forum

Hey guys,

the FD's will fit the following:

- H22A Prelude. Non-ATTS and Non OEM LSD (OEM Viscous LSD uses a 14-bolt pattern, thus, a different ring gear). If the OEM LSD guys change to an aftermarket LSD though, then the FD will fit.
- H22A Accord/Euro-R. It fit's your LSD as you have the 10-Bolt Torsen

For the Prelude Guys, if someone could inform them please that we can also offer them our H22A Forged Helical LSD at an additional 10% discount if ordered along with their FD

Payment will be directly to us via PayPal, and will be shipped out via DHL Express.
