I don't know about a showroom condition, there are some very minor defects, ie stone chips which I missed whilst I was touching up with paint.
I'm glad I fitted those mudflaps as they will dramatically reduce the risk of more damage.

yeah but even if you spend a fortune doining it to mint s#!t HAPPENS and it will be back to square one within a year or 2.

IMO it wont do anything for pinkness as the laquer is like a sheet of glass fading the paint below it and as you can get at the paint you wont get rid of the fading.

My lude as been painted in a different paint taking away the need for laquer and every time I do painting I make sure I use the same type of paint so I can cut and blend.

I got to re paint my roof as its more pink than red. For some reason it wasnt painted when it was resprayed Sad

theres this stuff at work called Micromesh which goes up to 12000 thingies so its uber fine i wonder if this will work well? looks amazingly shiny tho

Awesome Cool , might have to try this with mine if I can find the time, but I think it will get a panel from a breakers and have a practise on that first, before trying it on the actual car. Cool
