Are the 5th gens the same? may need of stock set if there not.

If anyone has some old hoses complete for 4th or 5th even if there knackeard, send them to me for tamplates and I will pay postage. That would speed this up no end. Very Happy

Got the black ones I swapped off my 4th gen (see earlier post), they're still wet.... Send me a pm with your address if you want them.

how long will you need them for? as my car will be off the road for a while soon - but not that long - week or 2 at most? (for 5th gens)

I wouldnt like to promise any ammount of time if you will need them again, but thanks for the offer. Would hate to be responsable for your car being off the road when you need them back Laughing

Will see if we can get a donation or will buy some if needs be, from somone who is breaking a 5th gen.

I would of thought they would be the same but I got to check so we know for sure.

I'll be up for a Red 5th gen set depending on cost'ige, so throw my name down for now and i'll give you the yay or nay once you've got a price together.

Might be able to give you hoses aswell bud, depends how soon i can get to my car, i wont need them back either, cause if i take them off i wont bother putting them back on till i got me shiney red ones.

Right just thought I would update this thread.

I have been in talks with 1 supplier, but now I have recieved a set of hoses I can go straight to a maker of these hoses and cut out the midde man which means I should e able to get these a little bit cheaper again, so hang in there guys and I will get you a top quality product for a good price

Think I can get a multitude of colours instead of just red or blue so hang on till end of this week before I commit to anything. Looking at doing many different kits not just for ludes too.

Just an update on this. The pipes that were kindly donated by Colin have reached the second manufactuer. I am in talks with them

Colours available are
Red
blue
black
yellow

They can even do them in metallic colours Shocked

Think 3 Ply will suffice and these will be top quality, same working pressures as the last qoutes.

Will update on prices soon, just got to send some quantities to get rough ideas on prices. Gona send an email laters so I hope to update tomorrow, thiscould be interseting with the metallic look Cool

Hope to get some picture samples too.

Not sure if you had sent Demon Motorsports the spare rad hoses but they've already done a set now. Their on ebay in blue or red for £40!

We talking cheaper than this or should we go for these?

They were made by a friend of the old boys who hand makes all his hoses and i must say the quality is second to none, but cost me £60 and they didn't charge to make the former up. i already have a set of OBX hoses which i paid £45 for last year but tbh you get what you pay for which is why i got these ones made up. good luck with the group buy, it'l be worth the wait for some quality hoses Cool
