They are not all the same, although those ebay ones do look quite plush.

Screwfix are doing a pack of 50 for <£20 which is a good buy, although they probably don't have as thick a pile as those ebay ones (provided of course the actual ones you get are as good as they look in the picture).

If you want to be really anal about MF's, rub the back of a CD and see if they inflict any scratches after they have been washed a couple of times.

the pile doesnt look that thick, but i guess i can use them for cleaning and polishing and get a thick one for drying?

will def do the CD test 1st either way!

I'd use them for drying too! lol!

The thicker pile ones are better for polishing/drying as there is less chance of scratching with thicker/softer cloths.

To be honest, i just these for everything though -

As said, they're not all the same, i've bought that screwfix pack, they're very good and pass the cd test at least when new, good buy i say.
