nope, there is a reason for them taking this long to be made and delivered but if it was to be posted up now everyone would question it and this and that so it best being left till all have there parts and everyone can make up there own mind. they however are on there way i have seen samples and if the centre consols are anything like the spark plug covers they will be worth the wait and more!

if everyone could just be patient on this they will arrive just waiting to hear when. i know its been long enough but a few more days should be it. sorry i cant help. im just the messenger.

Lots of ifs.
I have not contacted them direct for a refund yet. I still live in hope.

ryn86 will you be sending the parts out?

yip when they arrive with me i will be sending them out on his couriers account. i have heard the full story and had it varified so im happy with it all and they will arrive and be of the quality we all hoped for. i could be wrong. Embarassed but hope and think im not. Cool if the sample of what i had him do a run of for me is anythin to go by they look flawless.

i know everyone is pissed off but be patient and they will come. hope im right in all this. Smile

A friend of mine is on the celica forums - they've been waiting 3 months so far for their parts with no luck so far.
Now, im not having a pop here, the point im trying to make is....

It seems that Tech Carbon have gone to many many forums at the same time, and have had alot of luck. At the same time, they've taken on more work than they could possibly deal with, and as such, have been massively delayed in actually producing/and or sending out the parts in a suitable time frame.

I severely hope for the hundreds of people that have paid for their parts, that TC can produce.
It would be great to be friend with a company that could make, pretty much, anything in carbon.
Lets hope this is just a temporary issue that will be resolved happily Smile

me to.

my personal opinion is, that is all it is. coupled with some issues that will come out once all the parts have arrived with people. think all future group buys will go much smoother. if anyone see's past this first one. but think its good to remember everyone makes mistakes. we are only human. hope the quality of the goods will overshine the time scale.

I am so confused. So theres a problem(s??) somewhere with something to do with things we ordered getting on for 3 months ago now, but were not allowed to know until we've got the items because ..?

Very bizarre set of events this that gets stranger by the day and each unmet delivery promise!

Ill resist the temptation to make guesses what the excuse/reason is for now lol, maybe we could organize a sweep stake. Pick a date for any date in the 09/10 calender

because, i only have a story. when they arrive i will know it to be all true or otherwise.

also its not really my place to be telling the story. as its not my company and none of my business. i really have nothing to do with this i am only doing my part to move things along.

if the owner want to explain all the problems as im sure he does he will do so.

all i have to say is im doing all i can to help everyone out. i believe the reasoning for the delays i have been told to be true and trust the company.

everyone else can make there own minds up. However id appreciate if you dont question my business! seems there is some misplaced snide remarks coming my way when im the one trying to get things moving along. if you have any anger its with tech carbon not me think you would do well to remember that.

I dont think people are having a go at you ryan, as unfortunately you are the on ein the middle. I have said before that i genuinely hope it all works out for the best and that jamie at TC gets things sorted, as I too have heard all the stories.
However, I think the thing that appears to be the issue is that it was said;
1. All parts made and shipped
2. All parts recalled and rshipped to you.
3. Shipping delay to you.
4. You have seen over webcam the plug cover
5. On their way, any day now
6. New issues re making

So it does look bad, and thats not a jibe or a snide remark at you, but from my view, it sounds like a load of bollox and there are no parts, other than maybe a plug cover bought from ebay and shown to you over the camera. I am pretty convinced your parts are now being made in china and thats what all the delay is as it takes months, as i deal with both china and taiwan for some carbon products.
Jamie should grow some balls and come on and explain what is going on in my opinion.

sorry to be a pain ryan but i'm gonna have to drop out - well depending when these are done - at the moment money's well tight and had saved the money in my paypal to stop me spending it, but i'm afraid things have come up, you've really done a good job on this group buy and i hope everything works out for you!

ryn86, I think you have done all you can in defending this bloke.

I admire your spirit in trying to get this group buy to work and some of the flack you have taken(some from me as well) but I think it is time for you to give up on it mate.

Jamie if you are reading this man up and explain yourself truthfully to the forum what the hell went wrong. A post will only take a few minutes of your time. I think you owe it to your potential customers at least.
