Looking very nice indeed. It's gonna b an animal!
What size turbo are you going for?
It'd be great and extremely useful if you could list the projects specs on page 1 perhaps? I know Id find it helpful.
Was your block darton sleeved or golden eagle? _________________

Oh wow!
Cheers for the run down bud.
Do you mind me asking how much it cost you to get the block sleeved? Did you send them the block, or they provide one? I was looking at Golden Eagle as I've spoke with someone where they provided the whole block sleeved.
Impressive list, hope I have my spec list close to yours one day. Need more high hp builds over here. Still pricing things and building deeper pockets!
What's it tuned with?
Oh and turbo size? What turbo kit did you use before for those numbers (nitrous to one side) or did you piece it together? What you got coming?
Sorry for all the questions, just seems like your taking forced induction the most serious I've seen over here. _________________

i had everything built in the states, ive had the engine running for several years now. the company i used was call pocket rockets racing, i was the 1st person in europe to have one of his engines. he provided the block and head and all the parts... yes it cost a pretty penny
the car is managed on AEM
the turbo i used before was a precision SC61 boosting 22psi
the new turbo is one of Precision billet wheel 6765 ball bearing turbos, good for over 800whp (proved 840whp on AMS evo at 45psi) its still a T3 unit as well. _________________

I love that you can do all this through the stock gearbox. _________________ My Car, Alphanumerically: 1992 JDM BB1 2.2 Si VTEC 2.2 DOHC with M2B4 LSD and 4WS in NH-552M. |

very very nice! specs are great!!
I'm looking into getting a build shortblock from the states.
A few Q's
did you send your own block?
And did you use your own brands in the build? Or is it a standard build shortblock H22 they do? Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! |
Bisimoto and Darton itself have these options aswell i think.. can't make up my mind..
shipping cost and customs big bucks?
will keep following your build! great inspiration!

when i had my engine built, pocket rockets racing (frank) he had only been open for a short period of time. We spoke many times over the phone discussing what would be the best route and components to use.
he supplied my block and my head castings.
when i got mine built, he put everything together, from oil pan to cambelt stuff, cams, valve over everything.
ive just read thro the new procedure, very very very impressive.
frank and i got on very very well but lost touch cause he became ill.
should try and contact him.... _________________
